Objectives of the Course
|
It is aimed that the students can learn the basic concepts related to the field of marketing completely, and that they can be exemplified by following the current. At the end of the semester, it is aimed that the students will be able to prepare the marketing plan of a business.

Course Content
|
Defines the concepts and facts that form the basis of marketing and gives examples. Explains the concept of the market environment, analyzes the elements that make up the market environment and determines its implications for marketing management. Explains the concept of marketing information systems, determines and analyzes the types of information required in terms of marketing management. Defines the concepts of market segmentation and target market selection, shows how to do the segmentation process and applies the target market selection phenomenon. Defines the concepts of marketing plan and strategic marketing planning, determines the relevant items, develops and implements a strategic marketing plan. It follows the current developments in marketing and uses them in the creation of new strategies.
