Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge of electrical machines with special application areas.
Course Content General classification of special electrical machines, 1 phase Asynchronous Machines, Linear Asynchronous Machines, External Rotor Asynchronous Motors, Synchronized Asynchronous Motors, Asynchronous Motors with Mass Rotor, Pump Motors, Brake Motors, One and three phase alternating current machines, Hysteresis motors, Universal motors, Schrage Motor, Repulsion Motor, 1 and 3-phase Series Collector Alternating Current Motors, Continuous Magnet Synchronous Motors, Brushless DC Motors, Switched Reluctance, Synchronous Reluctance and Hybrid Reluctance Motors, Hysteresis and Micro Motors application areas.
