Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to examine the hydraulic and morphological changes that will lead to the construction of the water structures to be built on rivers, which are one of the application areas of
civil engineering, and to give the principles of calculation and design of river structures according to the most suitable hydraulic conditions.
Course Content Storage structures, dam reservoirs, dams, dam types, water intake structures, exit structures, spillways, energy breaker structures, stream regulation, flood control structures.
