Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to give basic information about GIS related concepts, location data and verbal data together, questioning and interpretation.
Course Content Basic definitions of GIS, application areas (engineering, architecture), basic components of GIS, database management, verbal and graphical data structures, data collection methods, GIS application stages, system analysis, geographic information system design, inquiry and analysis, covers web-based geographic information systems.
