Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide basic measurement techniques and mathematical definitions used in large scale map production.
|
Course Content
|
Basic information about maps and scales. map construction and map usage. information on measurement theory: measure value, actual value, random maps, least squares principle. measurement of horizontal lengths on the map. Finding polygonal areas. measurement of steel strips and horizontal lengths; Modern methods of measurement information.
