Objectives of the Course To teach the analysis of the isostatic structure systems under the effect of constant and / or moving load and the calculation of the cross-sectional effects.
Course Content Load and building types; static analysis of certain structures; static lines of certain structures; approximate analysis of statically indeterminate structures; deviations (divergence diagrams and elastic curve, elastic-beam theory, double integration method, moment-field theorem, conjugate-beam method); Deviations using the energy method (virtual work method and castigliano method: lattice structures, beams and frames) topics.

2 Students will be able to determine the static magnitude of the structural elements by using equilibrium equations and equilibrium conditions.
3 Students will be able to determine the largest and smallest static magnitudes in the structural elements of isostatic systems under the effect of moving loads by using their effect lines.
