Objectives of the Course The aims of the course are to develop students' skills in understanding, evaluating and perceiving three-dimensional forms and volumes expressed on paper, and to gain the ability to express themselves through writing-model-drawing-sketching methods.
Course Content The relations of technical drawing with other disciplines in terms of a universal language, communication, cooperation and co-operation, painting as an upper language and project making, project reading, surveying, designing stages are evaluated and structural elements are defined.
Course Methods and Techniques Theoretical lectures, practical homework.

1 Meeting with the content of the course, project reading, project making. Presentation: Presentation of drawing media, tools and equipment, freehand drawing. Drawing environment, introduction of tools, freehand drawing.
2 Understanding Orthographic (Perpendicular) Projection: Coordinates, traces and projectors. Picture (epurean) planes. Transfer of measurements.
3 The language of lines, thickness, depth, distance, section and material expressions. Section types, sectioning. Dimensioning techniques.
4 Understanding Orthogonal Axonometry and Oblique projection. Defining 3D Kavalyer and Military (Oblique projection) and Isometric, Dimetric and Trimetric (Axonometric projection) perspectives with Models.
5 Comprehending the surfaces of objects, 3D reading in epure. Practical approaches in perspective drawings.
6 Section plane and multi-view expression techniques in hollow and complex masses.
7 Project at 1/50 scale within the scope of multiple projection
8 Midterm
9 Presentation of simple building elements on a 1/100 scale project: Substructure, walls, flooring and balcony.
10 Presentation and application of building elements on a 1/100 scale project: Roof types (vault, dome), stair system. Multiple view (Plan, section, view) drawing studies.
11 Presentation and application of building elements on a 1/100 scale project: Roof types (vault, dome), stair system. Multiple views (plan, section, view) drawing studies.
12 Joinery and furniture display at 1/50 scale.
13 Use of tools to creation a double-escaped perspective and project submission
14 Criticism of building elements on the project
