Mode of Delivery Face to Face
Type of Course Unit Compulsory
Objectives of the Course The aims of the course are to develop students' skills in understanding, evaluating and perceiving three-dimensional forms and volumes expressed on paper, and to gain the ability to express themselves through writing-model-drawing-sketching and painting methods.
Course Content The courses are carried out in two stages: theoretical and practical;
Projective expressions of geometric forms and geometric perspectives are covered. Plans, sections, views and expressions for learning simple building elements are developed in 2 and 3 dimensions on the sample project.
Orthographic projection: Multiple projections of geometric forms on Epure planes. Axonometry: Third dimension concept with parallel perspective methods.
Vertical axonometry, oblique axonometry.
Housing project: The year-end output of the studio process consisting of 1/50 Plans, Sections, Views and Perspectives, in which a simple house will be discussed where the concepts of measurement, scale and symbol are comprehended together with structural elements.
