Objectives of the Course The aim of the Introduction to Architecture course is to give basic information about architecture in the first year of architectural education. With the knowledge of this basic information, it is aimed that the student gains the competence to perceive an abstract concept such as design by integrating it with the environment and its conditions.
Course Content In this course, concepts related to architecture will be introduced and discussions on the formation and development of architectural texture in different natural, cultural and historical environments will be introduced.
Course Methods and Techniques Courses will be based on research works, readings and their critics.
