Objectives of the Course The objective is to gain an understanding of the fundamental principles of three-dimensional computer-aided design using Building Information Modelling software. Parametric design methods and tools will be employed to facilitate the student's involvement in the project production process and to cultivate proficiency in diverse design methodologies.
Course Content To be able to model the whole project, going from part to whole, mastering all the stages of an architectural drawing in Revit, Rhino, etc., being able to take 3D renderings, being able to convert an Autocad drawing into a model. To be able to use shapes beyond traditional geometry in architectural design.

3 This paper introduces the concept of parametric design and presents an overview of the Rhinoceros programme.
