Objectives of the Course The aim of the course is to provide students with the ability to think in three dimensions and to enable them to create a model of an architectural project in a computer environment with the help of programs such as 3dsMax, AutoCAD, Sketchup.
Course Content Introduction to 3D modeling with 3DS Max program, learning Parametric and Conceptual design topics in computer environment.

2 General introduction to the 3Ds Max program, in-class practice for bringing and working on Autocad drawing.
3 Drawing in 3Ds Max, geometry and shape menu, line, rectangle, circle etc. commands..
4 Importing a project given as an AutoCAD drawing into 3ds max, drawing via 3DS Max..
5 Object selection, Layer order, move, copy, rotate commands and transform menu, working with 2D, 2.5D and 3D snap,.
6 Modify menu introduction and editable poly command -1, wall drawing, extrude modifier command.
7 In-class application.
8 Midterm exam.
9 Modify menu introduction and editable poly command -2, window and door drawing.
