Objectives of the Course Writing is the most important communication tool of human beings. The aim of this course is to examine the importance of the manuscript from the pictograms and ideograms used in the pre-writing period, to the discovery of writing, from the Latin ABC to the present, from the design perspective to the digital design processes, and to implement and apply the communication with the individuals and the masses as a graphic design element.

1 Typography, the existence of the literature by Sumerians Guttenberg's "Moving Hurufat" content and to this day, including the concepts of writing and letter design
2 In the scope of this course, the student examines that typography becomes completely compatible with computer technology, and that the desktop publishing and printing-media sector is no longer just the field of application.
3 Practice in visual communication design by applying letters and text in 2D, 3D spaces.
4 Font / Letter Design elements using Logo, Emblem, press flyer, Banner, book cover, Brochure, letterhead-Envelope-Business Card, web page typography, Banner, short and long-length movie film typography design and so on. apply the techniques of practicing new-surface elements.
5 Evaluate the working practices in the application floors of Visual Communication Design.
