Mode of Delivery Face to Face
Type of Course Unit Compulsory
Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to design a character that was previously drawn in 2d, in a 3d modeling and animation software Autodesk Maya, applying different modeling techniques, like box modeling, polygon Modeling and sub-division modeling through reference images. Generating a Texture map of the character, adding of Shaders and in Photoshop creating a Texture, adding the Texture to the character back in Maya and receive the character's rendering as a still image.
Course Content In this course, students can design a character in the Maya software using modeling techniques that is conform to the characteristics and structure of the character. Modeling, UV Map extraction, addition of shaders and the additive of textures in Photoshop software. They gain the ability to obtain the render, which will display the finished image in Maya.
