Objectives of the Course
|
This course is designed to provide students with knowledge about standards, standardization processes, and conformity assessment systems. It covers fundamental topics such as quality management, product safety, and the application of national and international standards, with the aim of equipping students with both theoretical and practical knowledge.

Course Content
|
Definition and importance of standardization. National and international standard organizations (ISO, TSE, IEC, etc.). Conformity assessment processes (certification, testing, inspection). Quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.). Accreditation processes and bodies. The economic and social impacts of standardization. The role of standards in improving product and service quality.
