Objectives of the Course	The course has two main objectives: (i) To equip students with basic knowledge that will make it easier for them to comprehend the other courses they will study in the first year and in the following years. (Ii) The whole law; on the one hand, by comparing it with the rules of morality, religion and etiquette; On the other hand, to discuss and evaluate in terms of disciplines such as sociology and philosophy. The concept of "justice".
Course Content	The concept of law and the special place of law against other rules of social behavior. The importance of the principle of secularism in terms of Turkish Law; Sources of law; Public Law-Private Law distinction; Branches of law; “Mixed” law branches; Application of law: application in terms of place and time; Interpretation and interpretation methods. Issues such as interpretation of the rules will be examined.
