Objectives of the Course
|
In this course, many types of stochastic processes will be introduced and the logic of thinking about stochastic events and systems will be explained. In this way, students will gain the ability to solve possible problems in real life.

Course Content

Introduction to stochastic processes, definitions and concepts, Bernoulli processes, Poisson process and related distributions, Markov chains, transition probability matrix, first and n-step analysis, classification of Markov chains, limit state of Markov chains, Birth and death processes, Renewal processes, Queuing theory.
