Objectives of the Course
|
The aim of this course; To enable the student to acquire and develop knowledge, attitudes, and skills related to nursing roles aimed at developing, protecting and improving individual, family and community health with a scientific, holistic and ethical approach.

Historical development of nursing, professionalization process, contemporary roles of nursing, ethics in nursing, development of patient and human rights, basic concepts of nursing (human, environment, health/disease, nursing/care), conceptual framework of nursing, nursing process, basic human needs, safe environment. ensuring patient safety principles and infection control
