Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to provide information about the theory of economic integration by analyzing the development process of the European Union, the European Financial Supervision System and the economic and commercial relations between Turkey and the European Union; and to provide the ability to interpret the relations between economic and political actors.
Course Content The European Union as a global actor, types of economic integration, historical development of the European Union, common policies of the European Union, the European Financial Supervision System and its elements, the Turkey-European Union Customs Union Agreement, Turkey-European Union relations.
Course Methods and Techniques The final exam also includes the topics covered before the midterm exam.
