Objectives of the Course
|
The objective of this course is to teach students the fundamental principles of the Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigm. Students will learn basic OOP concepts such as classes, objects, and methods, and will gain the ability to write reusable, sustainable, and modular code in software development processes. Additionally, they will acquire the competence to create effective software designs by utilizing advanced OOP features such as polymorphism, encapsulation, inheritance, and interfaces.

Course Content
|
This course starts with an introduction to Object-Oriented Programming and aims to cover fundamental concepts such as classes, objects, methods, encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism in detail. It will also focus on how interfaces and data structures are defined and used. In addition to theoretical knowledge, the course will offer practical learning opportunities by involving students in project development processes. The midterm exam will assess the students' theoretical knowledge, while their design, development, and presentation skills will be evaluated through final projects.
