Objectives of the Course
|
Many projects in business life end unsuccessfully for different reasons. In order to achieve success in this field, it is now inevitable to use awareness and scientific methods. In this course, it is aimed to provide the students with the necessary knowledge and competence to be included in their projects by explaining the stages in which their projects should be handled within the framework of methodologies. In this context; Basic project management terminology, differences of projects from other routine works, and project management knowledge areas will also be discussed. Students will gain competence in the management of their projects by using the MS Project program at various stages.

Course Content

t provides students with theoretical concepts, applications, cutting-edge technology concepts, a variety of tools, processes, and practical perspective to help them understand how to successfully manage projects in a wide variety of industries, including software development, information technology, construction, government, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and R&D. Basic project management terminology, differences of projects from other routine processes, initiation, planning, implementation, monitoring and control and closing processes within the framework of project steps and knowledge areas constitute the content of the course.
