Objectives of the Course
|
The aim of this course is to introduce fundamental biomedical devices and physiological signal monitoring and diagnostic equipment, explain their operating principles, develop students’ competence in safe and effective clinical application, and teach common faults and troubleshooting methods.

Course Content
|
Fundamental biomedical technologies, physiological and bioelectric signals, and essential monitoring and diagnostic devices such as blood pressure monitors, stethoscopes, otoscopes, ECGs, bedside monitors, EEG/EMG/EOG/ERG/PSG systems, Holter monitors, respiratory measurement devices, tympanometry/audiometry devices, and NST (fetal monitors).
