Objectives of the Course The objective of this course is to equip students with fundamental knowledge and skills in fire safety. The course aims to raise awareness of the causes of fires, ways fires spread, fire classifications, and appropriate firefighting methods. Additionally, students will learn how to take preventive measures and how to respond in case of emergencies.
Course Content The course begins with the fundamental principles of fire safety, introducing key concepts such as the definition of fire and the fire triangle. It continues by discussing how fires spread, different fire classifications, and the appropriate firefighting methods for each. Students explore fire alarm and suppression systems, including sprinklers, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers.
