Objectives of the Course This course focuses on the scientific, economic and ecological problems that constitute the root causes of the threat of global climate change and the institutions involved in the negotiations that have a widespread international impact on climate change. The emphasis is on examining what kind of arrangements are planned at all scales to address the current and potential future problems related to global climate change and sustainability, which require urgent action, and monitoring current literature and scientific data on the subject.
Course Content This course is designed to critically analyze climate change and sustainability issues. The topics covered in the course will be analyzed from economic and political perspectives. In this context, current developments related to sustainable development goals will be discussed in detail.
