Course Content What is Physics? coordinate systems, measurement and unit sys-tems; vector and scalar quantities, vector quantities basic opera-tions; one dimensional motion, average and instantaneous velocity, acceleration, linear motion; motion with constant acceleration in two dimensional motion; free fall, horizontal shots, projectile motion; Newton’s Laws of Motion; work, power, energy; impulse and mo-mentum, heat-thermometers, sound and properties, hydrostatic, electrical conductivity of materials, Coulomb’s Law, electrical field; current, resistance, capacitance, Ohm’s Law; magnetic fields and magnetic induction
