Objectives of the Course
|
To be able to comprehend alternative methods and types and features of machining in machine technicians. Learning industrial measurement and control methods.

Course Content
|
Definition of leveling and its importance in machine building. Marking, cutting, hole drilling, screw opening operations. Soldering technique. Vargel - planing machines and chip removal methods. Cutting tool selection, coolants. To be able to select the cutting parameters required for chip removal on machine tools, to calculate cutting times, to understand the formation of chips, heating, wear and cutting forces in chip removal. To be able to measure with caliper, micrometer, comparator. Understanding of surface roughness, dimensional measurements, profilometer, cutting forces, cutting temperature measurement methods.

1 adet ara sınav (%30) ve 1 adet yarıyıl sonu (%50) olmak üzere 2 adet yazılı sınav yapılır. İki adet uygulama sınavı yapılır. Vize haftasına kadar yapılan uygulamanın %10’u vize notuna, 8-14. haftalar arası gerçekleştirilen uygulamanın %10'u yarıyıl sonu notuna dahil edilir.
