Objectives of the Course 1. to comprehend the students general principles, scope and duty of profession of mechanical technology. 2. to be able the knowledge and skill of adjustable measurement and control instruments
and ability to measure. 3. to carry out fundamental knowledge and skill on conventional machine tools such as turning, milling, drilling. 4. to sharpen the single point cutting tools forming the
cutting geometry by free hand on simple grinding machine.

1 Talaş kaldırma ve kesmenin mekaniğini öğrenir. Tezgah gücü, enerji sarfiyatı, Kesme kuvvetleri, temel hesaplamaları yapabilir
2 Talaşlı şekillendirmede talaş oluşumu, kesici takımlarda aşınma ve aşınma türlerini öğrenerek işe uygun parametre ve kesme koşullarının seçimini yapabilir.
3 İşe uygun kesici takım seçimi, takım ömrü ve kesme parametrelerinin hesap ve seçimini yapabilir.
4 Torna tezgahında alın, silindirik tornalama, pah kırma, kanal açma, vida çekme, delik delme, konik çekme işlemlerini İSG kurallarına uyarak gerçekleştirebilir
5 Freze tezgahında iş ve kesici bağlama yöntemlerini uygulayarak, alın frezeleme, frezede delik delme ve kanal açma işlemlerini yapabilir
6 Taşlama, vargel ve planya tezgahlarını kullanır.
