Objectives of the Course To learn the basic principles of the balance of objects under static loads and the strength of objects, and to explain the basic concepts of the relationships between the loads acting on objects and the internal stress and deformations they create in objects. To apply the basic principles to different problems from simple to complex and to provide the ability to analyze and solve problems.
Course Content To learn the basic principles of the balance of objects under static loads and the strength of objects, and to explain the basic concepts of the relationships between the loads acting on objects and the internal stress and deformations they create in objects. To apply the basic principles to different problems from simple to complex and to provide the ability to analyze and solve problems.
Course Methods and Techniques Definition of mechanics, basic concepts of strength, internal loads, types of stress, deformations, combined stresses and Mohr's circle.
