Course Details Language of Instruction Turkish Level of Course Unit Associate Degree Department / Program Civil Aviation Cabin Services Type of Program Formal Education Type of Course Unit Compulsory Course Delivery Method Face To Face Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to teach the procedures for conducting pre-flight preparations in accordance with instructions, ensuring the safe and secure operation of civil aviation activities. Students are informed about incidents such as aircraft hijackings and airport attacks within the scope of aviation security, and the measures and sanctions taken afterward. Barriers and equipment ensuring airside and groundside security at airports, passenger transport rules, sterile cockpit procedures, and the requirements of normal operating procedures are explained. The importance of the human factor in aviation, especially in accident investigations, crew resource management, and safety management systems are covered, and practical applications such as specialized passenger briefings, pre-flight safety demonstrations, bomb procedures on board, and unruly passenger intervention are taught.
