Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to classify emergency equipment, to evaluate them by ensuring their control. To evaluate different types of emergencies that may occur and appropriate intervention methods for these emergencies. To gain awareness about which emergency situation may be encountered in the cabin at which time during the flight, to gain the perspective to take appropriate action in these emergencies. To be able to make the right intervention in accordance with the determined procedures in possible emergencies and to evaluate the most appropriate course of action. To be able to evaluate the procedures related to survival after an emergency.
Course Content Emergency equipment, general cabin check before flight operation, emergency equipment check, oxygen systems, cockpit oxygen system (gas) - portable oxygen cylinders - cabin oxygen system (chemical), commands from the flight crew in case of cabin pressure release/sudden pressure release/slow pressure release/cabin pressure release, fire types, procedures to be applied according to fire types and extinguishers to be used, cabin fire, toilet fire, savit fire extinguishing system, galley fires, duties of the cabin crew in fire and smoke fighting, equipment used in fire and smoke fighting, safety position, unprepared emergency, prepared emergency, emergency descent procedures, emergency passenger, cabin, galley preparations, evacuation, emergency materials to be used in evacuation, survival procedures, incapacitated pilot subjects are included.
