Objectives of the Course The student gains knowledge about the historical development of football, participates in practical applications within the framework of football rules, and develops basic technical and tactical skills.
Course Content The chronological development of Turkish football is presented, the evolving game rules are taught both theoretically and practically, football technical training is explained in both practical and theoretical contexts, and general knowledge topics related to football are provided. The content includes definitions, history, basic stance, passing, ball control, dribbling, feints, shooting, goalkeeping, individual and team defense, team offense, game systems, and rules. The student gains the foundational education necessary to teach football in schools, learns about football developments in Turkey and the world, and acquires knowledge about individual and team defense.
