Objectives of the Course The student learns the basic information about adaptation to water, free diving and test diving. He/she learns the information about open water diver and diving science for scuba diving. To teach the students the rules and techniques they need to follow in all kinds of situations during the dives they will make with the open circuit SCUBA diving equipment they will use during their education, and to ensure that they apply them in a way that will not endanger themselves and their friends.

Course Learning Outcomes: Upon the successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

1 At the end of this course, the student will learn the basics of snorkeling, freediving, trial diving and later open water diver and diving science as a first step for adaptation to water.
2 The student learns to become a self-sufficient scuba diver in the open sea through the practical training she receives in diving practices.
3 At the end of this course, the student will have knowledge of the rules of diving physics.
4 At the end of this course, the student learns the standards related to underwater diving skills.
