Objectives of the Course In this course, it is aimed to teach the mechanism of action of ionizing radiation in the cellular dimension, radiobiology and clinical applications.
Course Content Basic radiation physics, Physical basis of radiotherapy, Biological basis of radiotherapy, Place of simulation in radiotherapy, Diagnosis and staging in cancer, Acute and late effects of radiation, Treatment planning in radiotherapy, General information in breast and lung treatment, General information in the treatment of head and neck cancers, Gynecological and pediatric tumors, Gastrointestinal System Cancers, Soft tissue sarcomas, non-melanoma skin cancers, Lymphoma and whole body irradiation
