They will develop the ability to create hierarchical layouts by combining aesthetics and functionality, and use critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills in their typographic designs.
Course Content The course covers basic typographic terms and their application. Students will work on letter structure analysis, different typefaces and classifications, text formatting techniques, and light-shadow relations. The course emphasizes both the theoretical and practical aspects of typographic design, helping students develop skills in aesthetics and creating hierarchical layouts. Additionally, it focuses on creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Course Methods and Techniques The course will consist of both theoretical and practical sections. In the first part, the basic concepts of typography and letter structure will be covered theoretically. In the second part, students will apply what they have learned in hands-on projects.
