Objectives of the Course It is aimed for students to learn the concepts of neglect and abuse, to be able to communicate with children who can be considered as a risk group in neglect and abuse by knowing their developmental characteristics, to learn interdisciplinary cooperation methods in child neglect and abuse and the methods that can be followed in children who have been neglected and abused, and to learn communication skills with these children.
Course Content It covers the concept of neglect and abuse, risk factors, rehabilitation services and approaches.
