Objectives of the Course
|
To provide students with the fundamentals of digital electronics and the operating principles of logic circuits, and to equip them with the theoretical background necessary to analyze number systems, logic gates, and sequential circuits.

Course Content
|
Analog and digital concepts, number systems, coding techniques, Boolean algebra, simplification methods using Karnaugh maps, basic logic gates and integrated circuits, analysis of combinational circuits (encoders, ALU, etc.), flip-flops, sequential circuits, counters, registers, memory types, and Programmable Logic Devices (PLDs).
