Objectives of the Course Art History and graphic art in terms of letter design and use of the poster. Relation of letter subject, letter and color, letter and symbol / symbol relationship are examined. Typographic Poster Design. From Icon / Symbol and Concept to Format, Pictogram Design. Distinguishing certain characteristics of letters, relation between font and visual meaning. It is aimed to select the correct typeface, to teach typographic rules and to apply the practices of experimental applications.
Course Content To be able to follow contemporary typography movements, to design creative and original and creative writing characters, to produce experimental designs.
