Objectives of the Course The Design Application course aims to teach students how to plan and execute all stages of a design project, whether it's an advertising campaign or packaging design. Students will develop creative solutions and apply professional design techniques. They will continuously improve their projects based on feedback and create designs for various media and formats. Additionally, students will develop presentation skills, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to navigate professional design processes.
Course Content This course covers all stages of advertising campaigns and packaging design projects. Students will experience project planning, developing creative solutions, making improvements based on feedback, and designing across various media formats. Additionally, they will enhance their ability to present projects professionally. The course aims to equip students with the proficiency to manage advertising and packaging design processes using professional design techniques.






Course Methods and Techniques The course will be conducted through hands-on workshops, case studies, feedback sessions, project development, and presentation techniques. Continuous improvement will be emphasized through feedback at every stage of the design process. Practical in-class exercises will also focus on strategic planning and the use of media tools.

Resources "Design Thinking: A Guide to Creative Problem Solving" by Peter Rowe This book provides a thorough understanding of design processes and how creativity can be harnessed to solve complex design problems effectively.
The course notes focus on project-based learning. Students will work on advertising campaigns or packaging designs and are expected to bring their project files to class regularly. Based on feedback, students will refine and update their designs throughout the course. The notes will reinforce the students' understanding of design processes and project management, helping them enhance their creative problem-solving skills.
