Objectives of the Course

At the end of this course, it is aimed that students will learn the importance of communication in human relations, to understand oneself, to understand reactions to illness and situation, to empathize and to learn counseling skills.

Course Content
|
This course covers the concept of communication and the factors that affect communication, giving feedback, non-verbal communication, empathy, interview techniques, counseling skills, healthcare worker-patient communication, establishing therapeutic relationships, managing difficult communication situations and conflict resolution.
