Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to teach sustainable chemical processes by understanding the principles of green chemistry. Students will gain a deep understanding of the relationship between chemistry and sustainability concepts by recognizing technologies and applications that minimize environmental impacts. Within the scope of the course, they will learn the importance of developing environmentally friendly solutions and the critical role that green chemistry plays in this process, and they will gain competencies to reduce the environmental footprint of chemical production processes.
Course Content This course provides a comprehensive overview of green chemistry principles and sustainability concepts. It teaches students how to minimize the environmental impacts of chemical processes and products while emphasizing the role of chemistry in achieving sustainable development goals.
