Course Content Basic Maritime Training is provided. Ship personnel definition and duties. Marine life, working principles and working order on the ship. Ship types and classification. Ship dimensions, tonnage and draft brands. Maritime terms, deck equipment and machinery. Sailor ties, rope types and sizes. Preparation for guide taking-giving operation. Maneuver commands. Planned deck maintenance and painting works on the ship
