Objectives of the Course

1. To provide information on health law and related basic concepts
2. To provide information on patient rights within the framework of national and international legislation
3. To provide general information on informed consent and medical malpractice in medical interventions
4. To provide information on some crimes that may be applied to physicians and healthcare professionals

Course Content
|
The concept of "informed consent", which is one of the basic elements of the patient-physician relationship in terms of medical ethics, and its historical development, legal basis, conditions, exceptions, special forms of appearance,
and its form in legislation and practice will be examined in all its aspects.
The basic and distinctive features of the physician's responsibility within the framework of general liability principles will be discussed.
