Objectives of the Course Learning the concept of innovation, adapting and applying innovative (new and creative) ideas to economic areas such as trade, industry and services, developing invention and creative thinking skills, getting to know the concepts related to preparing and managing innovative and original ideas as scientific research projects, preparing at least one research project or presenting a patent idea.
Course Content Innovation concept, Innovation types and processes, Entrepreneur and Entrepreneurship concepts, National and international support and grant programs, undergraduate research supports, TÜBİTAK 2209 A and B student project supports, TÜBİTAK 1512 - Entrepreneurship Support Program (BiGG), successful undergraduate research support projects, Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights (FSMH), Invention, R&D, Brand, Patent, Utility Model, Design, Copyright, Registration concepts, national/international patent concept and Preliminary research, international research, determining project and patent subject, project writing, writing patent specifications, evaluating written projects or inventions and making them ready for application.

2 Understanding of national and international support and grant programs and how to prepare research projects for these programs and being able to write projects.

4 Ability to express the concepts of R&D, Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights (FSMH), Brand, Patent, Utility Model, Design, Copyright, Registration, present invention ideas, prepare and write invention specifications.
