Objectives of the Course To provide students with information on directing, sizing, relating and designing spaces according to user needs, and to enable them to analyze this information and produce original designs in projects with a critical perspective.
Course Content Examining the importance of ergonomics and universal design principles in user needs and design process. Concept of space and housing, its types, basic actions in housing structures, information on orientation and dimensioning of spaces (living, eating, sleeping, cleaning etc.) and transferring the design criteria and relationships between spaces in housing to the students through theoretical information and examples, and reinforcing them with homework and in-class practice studies.

4 Applications made in national and international contexts are evaluated in line with the principles of design, planning and spatial organization.
