Objectives of the Course Selecting materials in accordance with electrical projects and standards, assembling the materials into electrical panels, performing all kinds of tests on panels and assembling them on site.
Course Content Electrical panel types and selection criteria for appropriate panels for the facility. Properties of electrical panel materials and selection of appropriate materials. Panel assembly process steps (control panels). Panel assembly process steps (compensation panels). Panel assembly process steps and applications (PLC panels). Panel assembly process steps and applications (MV and HV panels). Distribution panels. Selection of distribution panel materials. Procedure for making panel connections with project follow-up. Lighting, ventilation systems in panels. Labeling in panel devices. Panel grounding and potential balancing bars. Electrical panel type tests, correct operation tests, relay settings. Insulation and heating tests in electrical panels. Technological developments in electrical panels. Standards related to electrical panels. Preparing the panel for assembly. Assembling busbars, cables and insulators in panels. Mounting the panel in place and cable connections. Commissioning the panel.
