Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to develop students’ ability to communicate effectively in both Turkish and English in technical and academic contexts, to enable them to use effective presentation techniques, and to equip them with independent learning and critical thinking skills in accessing, evaluating, and presenting academic knowledge.

Fundamental principles of presentation techniques Effective verbal communication and body language Audience analysis and content adaptation Academic English writing rules and technical terminology Academic writing (paragraphs, reports, summaries, etc.) Visual presentation tools and slide design Use of digital presentation technologies Evaluation of scientific information and use of sources Simplification and communication of complex technical information Independent learning and lifelong learning skills
