Objectives of the Course The objective of the course is to provide the introduction to the current practices of cloud computing. Mainly focusing on cloud computing models, techniques, and architecture, this course will provide students with the knowledge and handson experience in designing and implementing cloudbased software systems. The students will be provided information on concepts such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Identity as a Service (IdaaS) and major providers of those in the market today.
Course Content Introduction to cloud computing, cloud architecture and service models, benefits of cloud computing, distributed storage, security and cloud services and software.
