Objectives of the Course This course focuses on the scientific, economic and ecological problems that constitute the main causes of the threat of global climate change and the institutions dealing with the negotiations that have a widespread international impact on climate change. The emphasis is on examining what kind of arrangements are planned at all scales for the current and future problems related to global climate change and sustainability, which require urgent action, and monitoring the current literature and scientific data on the subject.
Course Content This course is designed to critically analyse climate change and sustainability issues. The topics covered in the course will be analysed from economic and political perspectives. In this context, current developments related to sustainable development goals will be discussed in detail.
