The effects of dietary components and eating habits on gene expression, epigenetic mechanisms (DNA methylation, histone modifications, microRNAs) and metabolic pathways; the role of epigenetic regulation across the life cycle (embryonic stage, childhood, adulthood, old age); epigenetic nutrition approaches in disease prevention and treatment; current research findings and practical examples.
