Objectives of the Course To explain the purpose and characteristics of management and to examine the theories related to management and to determine the relations of management functions with each other and to discuss how the behaviors should be managed in the organization and to analyze the development and problems related to the management and organization in organizations.
Course Content Definition and functions of management. Planning, Organization, Coordination, Orientation and Supervision Functions Organization and management of sport in light of the principles, techniques and methods of management science. Turkish Sport Management. General Directorate of Youth and Sports. Turkey's National Olympic Committee. Turkish Sport Policy and Legislation. Physical Education and Sport Management in Primary Schools, High Schools and Universities.
