Objectives of the Course
|
To explain the differences between natural sciences and social sciences. To introduce the perspective of social sciences methodology. To have knowledge about the emergence, development and emergence of sociology. To explain the relationship between education and sociology. To raise awareness about the contribution of sociology to education, understanding and solving the educational problems. To gain the general purpose and philosophy of sociology, to provide the students with the basic concepts and principles in sociology, to show the relationship and the relationship between sociology and education

Definition of sociology, sub-branches of sociology, definition of education sociology, scope and development, socialization process, social functions of education, alienation and education, social mobility and education, population and education, migration, media, globalization and their impact on education system as a social system school, school-environment relationship, school and violence, policy and education, ecology and education, teaching profession.
