Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to introduce the students to the basic study areas of neuropsychology such as attention, memory, executive functions and language, and to explain with examples the methods on which neuropsychological research is carried out. In addition, to explain the main central nervous system and brain structures and their relations with higher cognitive functions, and to give information about the symptoms and causes of neuropsychiatric diseases.
Course Content The introduction and basic subjects of cognitive neuropsychology, which is a branch of science that examines the relationship between the mind and the brain, constitute the content of the course.
